An
expert in the aquaculture field, Ms. Warren (D.V.M. ,
MS, PhD) has been teaching at Tufts University’s
School of Veterinary Medicine since 1997. A Fulbright
scholar and an OAS fellow, professor Warren is the
author of over 50 books and other publications.
Ms.
Warren has worked, among others, with: various
universities; the Pan American Health Organization /
World Health Organization; the United States Department
of Agriculture (USDA); the Roche Institute of Molecular
Biology. Her specialization in aquaculture diseases is
an essential asset for the Aquaculture Fund. Her work
covers extensively the shrimp sector, i.e.: Shrimp
Genome Mapping Project, a USDA supported initiative;
U.S. Marine Shrimp Farming Program; U.S. Shrimp Farmers
Association.
Beyond
the academia, Ms. Warren is involved in various
committees (i.e. the Small Business Innovation Research,
SBIR, of the USDA) and is an active panelist (previous
work includes the United Nations Environmental Program,
UNEP). |
