Nicholas Paras complements the advisory board of
Alpha Genesis because of his extensive work in corporate
banking. Positions held included those of Senior
Vice-President for Chase Manhattan Bank and of First
Vice President and Senior Credit Officer at Republic
National Bank. With Chase, Nicholas Paras has also
worked as one of the bank’s senior training officers
in Europe.
Of particular interest to our investors has been
the background of Nicholas Paras in the aquaculture
sector where he developed a substantial expertise given
his acquisition and successful turn-around of a facility
in Cyprus that currently, under the oversight of N.
Paras produces 12-20 million fry (small fish) per year.
Furthermore, N. Paras has substantial expertise in the
shipping community where he also held the position of
Group Finance Director with Blue Flag Navigation’s
activities in Piraeus and London. His work in this
sector has led to strong relationships in the Greek
shipping community.
Nicholas Paras holds a B.A. in History & B.M.
Music from Ohio Wesleyan University, Delaware, Ohio; a
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Ohio State University Law
School, Columbus, Ohio; and an M.A. Law and Diplomacy (M.A.L.D.)
from Tufts University, with academic work on
International Business Law and Management at Harvard
